Do I need to give you my Instagram password?
No! We never ask for your Instagram password or login credentials. You simply download your data from Instagram and upload the files to our tool.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. All file processing happens directly in your browser. Your data never gets uploaded to our servers, and we don't store anything. It's 100% private and local to your device.
How do I download my Instagram data?
Go to your Instagram account settings, navigate to "Your Activity," then "Download Your Information." Request a download in JSON format. Instagram will email you when it's ready (usually within 24-48 hours).
Which files do I need to upload?
You need two files from your Instagram data export: following.json and followers_1.json. These contain the lists of accounts you follow and accounts that follow you.
Is this tool free?
Yes! This tool is completely free and will remain free forever. We may show ads to keep the service running, but there are no paywalls or premium tiers.
Does this violate Instagram's terms of service?
No. Unlike third-party apps that require your login credentials, our tool only uses data that Instagram officially provides to you through their data download feature. You're simply analyzing your own data.
What format is the result?
The tool generates a CSV file containing a list of usernames who don't follow you back. You can open this in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet application.
Why do I see people in the list who I know follow me?
This could happen if your Instagram data export is outdated. Try requesting a fresh data download from Instagram and running the analysis again.
Can I use this on mobile?
Yes! The tool works on mobile browsers. However, downloading your Instagram data is easier on desktop.
